See forged wheels on your car
Choose a forged wheel, add a photo of your car, draw a frame around each wheel: the tool replaces the visible wheels with the wheel you chose and shows you the result on your own photo. It is free, with no sign-up, and we do not keep your photo.
The preview tool appears here, in your browser.
How it works
- Choose the model, the finish and the diameter. The diameter is used to prepare your quotation: it does not change the preview.
- Add a photo of your car, from the side or three-quarter view, in daylight, with the wheels clearly visible. An iPhone HEIC photo is converted in your browser.
- Draw a frame around each visible wheel, with your finger or the mouse. Two frames are enough from the side.
- Start the preview. An artificial intelligence model from Google draws the chosen wheel on your photo, from the studio photo of the model, in ten to forty seconds.
- Compare your photo and the preview with the slider, the real wheel alongside.
Only the wheels change
Your browser keeps the original photo. From the image calculated by the AI, it takes only the inside of each frame, with a feathered edge: the bodywork, the paint colour, the number plate, the background and the light remain those of your photo, to the pixel. The AI therefore cannot repaint the car or change the background. One exception, flagged on screen: if the calculated image does not line up with your photo, the tool shows it in full, and the bodywork or the background may then differ from your photo.
Is it a good likeness?
Before opening the tool, we tried it on ten photos of real cars, by day, at night, under an overcast sky, on light and dark bodywork. Out of twenty previews per wheel, the Veloce gave 18 convincing ones, the Venom 20, the Monaco 19, the Trellis 16, the Superlight and the Heritage 20, the Vector and the Mistral 18, the Vortex and the Turbine 17. Only these ten wheels are offered.
The defects we saw: a busy design such as the Trellis or the Mistral can be simplified on a small wheel seen in three-quarter view, or blend into an original wheel that already has a mesh design; a black finish can drift towards bronze, a dark brake caliper turn red. The colour, the reflections, the size and the position of the wheel may differ from reality: the real design is the one on the model's product page, and that is the one that counts. Under each preview, “Looks like it” and “Does not look like it” tell us what you think; a wheel whose previews too rarely look like it is removed from the tool.
What happens to your photo?
- It is reduced to 1600 pixels and saved again in your browser before it is sent: the EXIF data, including the GPS location, are removed.
- Your photo is used only to create this preview, calculated by an AI service from Google through our hosting provider. We do not keep it. If you attach the preview to a quotation request, we keep it for 30 days to reply to you, then it is deleted.
- The box that attaches the preview to a quotation request is never ticked in advance. We never publish a preview. The details are in our privacy policy.
The fitment is checked against your measurements
The preview shows an appearance, not a fitment. The diameter chosen is not sent to the AI, and the image says nothing about how flush the wheel sits, its width or its offset. This page does not choose a diameter, a width or an offset for you: the fitment is checked against your car's measurements (PCD, centre bore, brake caliper clearance), before manufacture, and submitted to you for approval before machining. Onyx Forged wheels are made of forged 6061-T6 aluminium and designed to JWL/VIA standards.

Frequently asked questions
Is the photo preview free?
Yes, with no sign-up and no email. Each connection has 6 previews per day, so that the service stays open to everyone. Beyond that, customer service can prepare a visual for you: write to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com.
Why only ten wheel models?
These are the designs that passed our likeness test: at least 16 convincing previews out of 20, on photos of real cars. The other catalogue models will be added after the same test, not before.
Why draw a frame around each wheel?
The frame tells the tool where the wheels are. Only the inside of the frames comes from the calculated image: the rest is your original photo. In our test, fully automatic detection missed wheels on one photo in two; with one frame per wheel, the preview lands where it should.
Is my photo kept?
We do not keep it. It is reduced and stripped of its location data in your browser, used to calculate the preview, then forgotten. The preview is kept only if you attach it yourself to a quotation request: 30 days, then it is deleted.
Does the preview guarantee that the wheel will fit my car?
No. The preview shows an appearance, not a fitment. The diameter, the width and the offset are checked against your car's measurements, before manufacture, and submitted to you for approval before machining.
