Onyx Forged

Who makes your wheels

Buying a custom forged wheel means trusting a brand you do not know yet with several thousand euros and weeks of waiting. This page says who we are, what we design and have manufactured, and what we do not do.

What we design and have manufactured

Onyx Forged designs custom forged wheels and has them manufactured: forged 6061-T6 aluminium, 5-axis CNC machined, designed to JWL/VIA standards.

Three constructions, three ways of building a wheel: monoblock, forged as a single piece; two-piece, a forged centre with a separate barrel; three-piece, a centre and two half-barrels assembled together. The face design, the concave profile, the width, the offset and the colour are decided project by project.

How an order works

  1. The project: you start from a model in the catalogue or from an image of a wheel you like, through the configurator.
  2. The 3D render: free, on request, to see the design on your car before machining.
  3. The measurements: the Onyx Forged design office checks that the wheels can be made for your car: diameter, width, offset, PCD.
  4. Manufacture and delivery: allow 4 to 8 working weeks, shipping included. Each set is made for you: nothing is made ahead of time, nothing comes from stock.
  5. Delivery: free to mainland France, the European Union, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway and Iceland, and to the French overseas departments and territories on quotation, which sets the delivery time. For Great Britain, see our Delivery to Great Britain page.

What we do not do

We do not sell from stock. That is what makes it possible to build a wheel to your exact dimensions, and it also explains our two constraints.

The first is the delivery time: 4 to 8 working weeks, wheels delivered to your door, shipping included. The second is legal: a wheel built to your measurements counts as goods made to your specifications, so the right to cancel a distance purchase does not apply once the order is confirmed. We would rather say so here than leave it at the bottom of the Terms and Conditions (page in French).

Who is behind the company

The Onyx Forged website is published by ONYX FORGED SAS, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 105 640 593 (SIRET 10564059300015).

All the legal information (chairman and publication director, registered office, share capital, host, full contact details) is in the legal notice (page in French).

The 12 checks before choosing a wheel maker (page in French) apply to us too: our answers are given point by point, each backed by the document that binds us.
