Delivery and returns

Delivery time: manufacture, then transport

Your wheels are delivered in 4 to 8 working weeks, i.e. 20 to 40 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding French public holidays), transit time included. This time runs from full payment for an order on the website, or from the deposit for an order on quotation, and at the earliest from your approval of the measurements, the colour or the 3D render you asked for, under article 5.1 of the Terms and Conditions.

Manufacture takes up most of it: about 15 to 32 working days. Transport follows, once the wheels have been dispatched: about 5 to 8 working days. This breakdown is indicative: only the total delivery time is promised to you (Terms and Conditions, article 5.1).

For a dedicated project whose page, accepted when you paid, sets its own time limits, or for delivery to the French overseas departments and territories (on quotation), the time limits of that page or of that quotation apply.

Where we deliver, and at what price

Standard delivery is free to mainland France (including Corsica) and Monaco; it is also free to the French overseas departments and territories, on personalised quotation, the quotation then setting the delivery time.

It is charged at €250 per order (including French VAT where it applies) to:

• European Union (outside France)
• Switzerland
• United Kingdom
• Norway, Iceland
• Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein

This price is shown on the payment page before the order is confirmed, or stated in the quotation, and appears on the invoice. For delivery outside these areas, a personalised quotation is drawn up on request.

Where delivery involves customs clearance (to the French overseas departments and territories, on quotation, or to a country outside the European Union), the import duties and taxes, and the customs clearance fees charged on delivery, are paid by you.

Express delivery. For a direct purchase delivered to mainland France, the payment page also offers express delivery, which is optional and charged for, with its price shown there. It only speeds up the transport, once the wheels have been dispatched: it does not shorten manufacture and does not change the delivery time; no earlier delivery date is promised (Terms and Conditions, articles 5.2 and 5.3).

Dispatch and tracking

The wheels are dispatched by a tracked premium carrier, with transit insurance included. You receive a tracking number as soon as the carrier takes charge of the parcel.

We keep you informed of the progress of your order at each key stage of production; the Order tracking page tells you whether it is being prepared, has been dispatched or has been delivered.

On receipt

Check the condition of the parcel and the conformity of the wheels as soon as you receive them. Report any visible defect to us (transport damage, scratch, finish defect, visible lack of conformity) within 7 days of delivery, by email to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com, with photos.

If you are a consumer, this period serves only to deal more quickly with transport damage: it does not deprive you of any of the rights you hold under the statutory guarantee of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects. For a business customer, once this period has expired, apparent defects can no longer be invoked (Terms and Conditions, article 5.4).

Returns: no right of withdrawal for a made-to-measure wheel

Each set is machined to order to the measurements of your vehicle (diameter, width, offset, PCD, centre bore) and finished in the colour or colours you have chosen. It is an item made to your specifications: in accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, no right of withdrawal may be exercised after your order is confirmed (Terms and Conditions, article 3.2).

What remains possible, depending on the stage:

• If your order bears the mention “Réglages : Choisis par nos experts” (settings: chosen by our experts), or “Teinte sur mesure” (custom colour) without designating a colour, or if we submit to you the colour adopted for your “Autre teinte” (other colour): until your approval (of the settings we submit to you, of the colour or colours chosen and the measurements, or of the colour submitted), you may cancel your order in writing, by email to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com; the sums paid are refunded to you in full within 14 days, with no compensation (article 3.1).
• Until the order is transmitted to production (in the cases above, once you have given your approval): each of the parties may cancel it in writing, on payment of a cancellation fee of 30% of the price of the order including VAT, the price of delivery excluded (40% of the price excluding VAT for a business customer). If you cancel, we keep this fee and refund the balance to you within 14 days; if we cancel, we refund all the sums paid to you and also pay you a fee of the same amount. An email informs you at the time the order is transmitted to production; the time at which it is sent is authoritative (article 3.3).
• After the transmission to production: the order can no longer be cancelled, either by you or by us, subject to the cases below and to force majeure; the wheels are delivered to you and the price remains due (article 3.3).
• If the configuration ordered cannot be fitted to your vehicle or manufactured: we notify you by email, giving the technical data on which our decision is based. Unless you accept the replacement configuration proposed, the order is terminated and the sums paid are refunded to you in full within 14 days (article 3.3).
• If we exceed the delivery time: you may require us to deliver within a reasonable additional period and, failing that, terminate the contract; the sums paid are then returned to you within 14 days, together with, if the order had not yet been transmitted to production, the fee provided for in the last paragraph of article 4.5 (article 5.1 bis).
• A defect or a lack of conformity: the warranties below apply, in addition to all of the above.

Warranties

5-year commercial warranty. Onyx Forged warrants its wheels against any manufacturing or material defect for 5 years from the date of delivery. Its exclusions (in particular an impact or an accident, use on a circuit without prior written agreement, incorrect fitting) are listed in article 6.2 of the Terms and Conditions.

Statutory guarantees. Independently of the commercial warranty, you benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code) and from the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

For a warranty claim, write to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com with a precise description of the defect, detailed photos, your order number and the delivery date (Terms and Conditions, article 6).
