Custom forged wheels for Mercedes

Custom forged wheels for Mercedes-AMG: G 63 (G-Class), AMG GT, C 63 and A 45, machined to the PCD and centre bore of your car. The measurements of the AMG A-Class (A 35 and A 45, W177), the AMG CLA (CLA 35 and CLA 45, C118), the C 43 (W206) and the GLC 63 (X253), all 5x112, are published with their sources; those of the other Mercedes-AMG models are still being recorded. The Onyx Forged design office submits the measurements to you before machining. 6061-T6 aluminium, designed to JWL/VIA standards.

Mercedes wheels: what we publish, and what is still being recorded

The PCD (bolt pattern), the centre bore, the bolt thread and the original fitments change from one Mercedes model to another, and from one generation to the next within the same model. We only show one if a source gives it: a manufacturer document, a vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, or two independent specialist sources that agree. The measurements of the Mercedes AMG A-Class (A 35 and A 45, W177), the AMG CLA (CLA 35 and CLA 45, C118), the C 43 (W206, saloon) and the GLC 63 (X253, SUV and coupé) are published on their pages, W177, C118, W206 and X253, with the source of each value. For the other Mercedes-AMG models on this page (the G-Class G 63, the AMG GT and the C 63), this recording is under way: no measurement is published until it is done. Their original measurements will appear on the page for each generation as soon as they are recorded, with the source of each value.

How to choose a wheel for your Mercedes in the meantime

The size of your tyres is the first reliable piece of information: it is written on their sidewall (reading a tyre (page in French)). To compare two fitments, the tyre size equivalence tool checks that the rolling circumference stays close, and the wheel offset calculator compares the position of two wheels in the wheel arch: these tools compare, they do not recommend any offset. The brakes, for their part, sometimes set a minimum diameter: a guide explains what the diameter changes (page in French).

Why we record your car's measurements

An Onyx wheel is machined to the PCD and centre bore of the car it is made for: it centres on the hub with no ring or spacer. Enter your model, its model year and its version in the configurator: the Onyx Forged design office records the measurements, calculates the width and offset for your car and your brakes, and submits them to you before machining.

An Onyx forged wheel is 5-axis CNC machined from a block of forged 6061-T6 aluminium, instead of being cast in a mould, and designed to JWL/VIA standards. The forged, cast or flow formed page explains what this changes for weight and strength. Price and lead time each have their own page: custom forged wheel prices and lead time.

Frequently asked questions about Mercedes wheels

Which wheel size for my Mercedes?

The one for your model, your generation and your version, which varies even within a model. The size is shown on the sidewall of your tyres. We publish the fitments of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 and A 45 (W177) on their page, those of the CLA 35 and CLA 45 (C118) on theirs, those of the C 43 4MATIC (W206) on its own, and those of the GLC 63 and GLC 63 S (X253) on theirs; for the other Mercedes-AMG models on this page, the recording is under way.

What is the PCD of a Mercedes?

It depends on the model and the generation. We only show it if a source gives it with the reliability we require: it is 5x112 on the A-Class W177 (A 35 and A 45), on the CLA C118 (CLA 35 and CLA 45), on the C 43 W206 and on the GLC 63 (X253), with its sources on their pages, W177, C118, W206 and X253. For the other Mercedes-AMG models on this page, the recording is under way: it will appear on the page for each generation, with its sources.

Do forged wheels for a Mercedes have an approval of their own, and do they pass the roadworthiness test?

No: made one set at a time, Onyx wheels have no individual approval of their own, and we say so before the order. They are designed to JWL/VIA standards. The French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique) examines the wheel without removing it (cracks, deformation, a wheel that sticks out beyond the bodywork) and checks that the tyre size is provided for by the manufacturer or accepted as equivalent; it neither validates nor rejects a modification, which is a matter for vehicle approval (réception) and the registration document. The details, country by country, are on the roadworthiness test and registration page.

How much do forged wheels for a Mercedes cost?

The price of a custom forged wheel depends on its diameter and its construction: the price grid for monoblock and 2-piece wheels is published diameter by diameter, 3-piece wheels are priced on quotation, and the finish does not change the price. The details are on the custom forged wheel prices page, and the lead time on the lead time page.

Monoblock, 2-piece or 3-piece: what is the difference?

A monoblock wheel is machined from a single forged block; a 2-piece wheel assembles a forged centre and a barrel; a 3-piece wheel holds the centre between an outer barrel and an inner barrel. Each construction has its own page, monoblock, 2-piece and 3-piece, and the guide monoblock, 2-piece or 3-piece (page in French) compares them.

And if my Mercedes is not on the list?

An Onyx wheel is designed around the measurements of the car it goes on. Enter your model and its model year in the configurator: we record your car's measurements and submit them to you before machining.

PCD, centre bore, thread, diameters and original offsets: the Mercedes cars we cover

One row per generation. Each value is taken from the car's page, which cites the source of each measurement, its fitments version by version and their original offsets (manufacturer). When a PCD has its own page, it leads there: that page lists every car that shares it.

“—”: measurement not published for lack of a sufficient source. The diameters and offsets are those of the original fitments, all versions together: the car's page gives the fitment of each version. These measurements help you recognise your car; they are not a recommendation, and Onyx does not advise any specific offset.

Onyx entry price: the set of four monoblock forged wheels in the smallest diameter of our price list that covers the smallest original diameter recorded; the other diameters and the two-piece construction are on each generation's page. Amounts in pounds: our checkout on 4 October 2026, before the carrier's clearance fee and any import duty. The amount shown at checkout is the one charged for your order.

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 22 October 2026.
