Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Peugeot 308 GTi (T9)

What are the original offsets for the wheels of a Peugeot 308 GTi?

According to the Swiss vehicle type records, the GTi 250's 8J x 18 wheel has an offset of 48, and the 8J x 19 wheel an offset of 42, on both axles. The GTi 270 has only the 19-inch wheel. [5, 6, 7, 8]

Which tyres, and which load index, does a Peugeot 308 GTi take?

225/40 R18 with load index 90, i.e. 600 kg per tyre, on the 18-inch wheel; 235/35 R19 with load index 90 on the 19-inch one. These are the combinations in the Swiss vehicle type records, the same on both axles. [5, 9]

What is the load per wheel on a Peugeot 308 GTi?

Its Swiss vehicle type record gives it a permissible load of 1,000 kg on the front axle, i.e. 500 kg per front wheel. The tyre with load index 90 in the same record carries 600 kg. [7, 9]

What PCD, centre bore and bolts does a Peugeot 308 GTi use?

The PCD is 5x108, the centre bore 65.1 mm, and the wheels are held by M12 x 1.25 bolts: SCC, wheelfitment.eu and koleso.ee give these measurements. The tightening torque is not published: the databases do not give the same value. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Same fixing measurements

As original equipment, these cars have the same PCD, centre bore, thread and fixing as the Peugeot 308 GTi (T9): PCD 5x108, centre bore 65.1 mm, thread M12 x 1.25, fixing: wheel bolts.

Same fixing measurements; original diameters and offsets: see each car's page. The seat of the bolts or nuts, the width of the wheels and brake clearance are not compared here: this comparison is not an opinion on compatibility.

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 20 October 2026 by the Onyx Forged design office.

Custom forged wheels for the Peugeot 308 GTi (T9)

  • Forged 6061-T6 aluminium
  • 5-axis CNC machining
  • Designed to JWL/VIA standards
  • Fitment worked out for your Peugeot 308 GTi (T9)

308 GTi: 5x108, a 65.1 mm hub, M12 x 1.25 bolts

The second-generation Peugeot 308 GTi (T9), from 2015 to 2021, uses 5x108 on a 65.1 mm hub, with M12 x 1.25 wheel bolts: SCC, wheelfitment.eu and koleso.ee give these measurements, each cited in the table. The tightening torque is not published: the databases do not give the same value.

Two fitments, depending on power

The 2015 and 2017 Swiss vehicle type records permit, for the 184 kW GTi 250, an 8J x 18 wheel with an offset of 48 and 225/40 R18 tyres, or an 8J x 19 wheel with an offset of 42 and 235/35 R19 tyres. The 200 kW GTi 270 has only the 19-inch fitment. Each fitment is the same on both axles. These records cover cars imported up to 2018: for a more recent GTi, the Onyx Forged design office works out the fitment from its registration document or its VIN.

What these measurements say about a forged wheel

The offset positions the wheel in the wheel arch: a wider wheel, or a lower offset, brings it closer to the wing. The Onyx Forged design office starts from the measurements on this page, your brakes and your tyres to calculate the width and offset of your wheels, then submits them to you. The offset calculator compares two fitments: it compares, it does not choose the measurement for you.

The same hub at Peugeot

The Peugeot 508 PSE shares the PCD, centre bore and bolts of the GTi, with a different fitment.
