Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Peugeot 508 PSE
What is the original offset for the wheels of a Peugeot 508 PSE?
An offset of 45, on an 8.5J x 20 wheel, on both axles: it is the only combination permitted by the Swiss vehicle type records of the all-wheel-drive 508 Hybrid4, in both saloon and SW form, from 2020 to 2023. [5, 6, 7, 8]
Which tyres, and which load index, does a Peugeot 508 PSE take?
245/35 R20 with load index 95, i.e. 690 kg per tyre, on both axles, according to the Swiss vehicle type records. [5, 7, 9]
What is the load per wheel on a Peugeot 508 PSE?
Its Swiss vehicle type records give it a permissible load of 1,300 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 650 kg per rear wheel, more than at the front (1,200 kg). The 245/35 R20 tyre with load index 95 carries 690 kg. [5, 8, 9]
What PCD, centre bore and bolts does a Peugeot 508 PSE use?
The PCD is 5x108, the centre bore 65.1 mm, and the wheels are held by M12 x 1.25 bolts: SCC, koleso.ee, hubcentric-rings.com and wheelfitment.eu give these measurements. The tightening torque is not published: the databases give four different values, and no Peugeot document we have read gives it. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Same fixing measurements
As original equipment, these cars have the same PCD, centre bore, thread and fixing as the Peugeot 508 PSE: PCD 5x108, centre bore 65.1 mm, thread M12 x 1.25, fixing: wheel bolts.
- Peugeot 308 GTi (T9) (2015–2021)
Same fixing measurements; original diameters and offsets: see each car's page. The seat of the bolts or nuts, the width of the wheels and brake clearance are not compared here: this comparison is not an opinion on compatibility.

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 20 October 2026 by the Onyx Forged design office.

Custom forged wheels for the Peugeot 508 PSE
- Forged 6061-T6 aluminium
- 5-axis CNC machining
- Designed to JWL/VIA standards
- Fitment worked out for your Peugeot 508 PSE
508 PSE: 5x108, a 65.1 mm hub, M12 x 1.25 bolts
The Peugeot 508 PSE, saloon and SW, from 2020 to 2025, uses 5x108 on a 65.1 mm hub, with M12 x 1.25 wheel bolts: SCC, koleso.ee, hubcentric-rings.com and wheelfitment.eu give these measurements. The tightening torque is not published: the databases give four different values, and no Peugeot document we have read gives it.
A single fitment: 8.5J x 20, offset of 45
The Swiss vehicle type records of the all-wheel-drive 508 hybrid (“508 Hybrid4”, one electric motor on each axle), from 2020 to 2023, permit only one combination, the same on both axles: an 8.5J x 20 wheel with an offset of 45, fitted with 245/35 R20 tyres. koleso.ee lists this tyre size under the Peugeot Sport Engineered (PSE) trim.
A heavy hybrid: the load is at the rear
The same records give a permissible load of 1,300 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 650 kg per rear wheel, more than at the front (1,200 kg). A replacement wheel is sized for this load, not for the kerb weight; the guide what load must the wheel withstand (page in French) explains the calculation.
What these measurements say about a forged wheel
The offset positions the wheel in the wheel arch: a wider wheel, or a lower offset, brings it closer to the wing. The Onyx Forged design office starts from the measurements on this page, your brakes and your tyres to calculate the width and offset of your wheels, then submits them to you. The offset calculator compares two fitments: it compares, it does not choose the measurement for you.
The same hub at Peugeot
The Peugeot 308 GTi shares the PCD, centre bore and bolts of the PSE, with other fitments.
What we record before machining
- The exact version, stated on the registration document, and the current diameter of your wheels.
- The braking system, on which the smallest possible diameter depends (wheels and brakes (page in French)).
- The current fitment, axle by axle, and the 65.1 mm hub bore.
Configure your forged wheels for the Peugeot 508 PSE
The Onyx Forged design office works out the measurements of your car from its exact version, stated on the registration document, and shows them to you before machining. Each set is cut from forged 6061-T6 aluminium, machined on a 5-axis CNC centre, as monoblock, two-piece or three-piece wheels; our wheels are designed to JWL/VIA standards. Prices by diameter and the lead time are given on this page, under “What Onyx can make”. Start your configuration or write to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com.
