Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (952)

What are the original offsets for the wheels of an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio?

A staggered fitment, the same from 2016 to 2026 according to the Swiss vehicle type records: 8.5J x 19 with an offset of 34 at the front, 10J x 19 with an offset of 41 at the rear. [8, 14, 20]

Which tyres, and which load index, does an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio take?

245/35 R19 with load index 93 at the front, i.e. 650 kg per tyre, and 285/30 R19 with load index 98 at the rear, i.e. 750 kg; since December 2022, the Swiss vehicle type records have also permitted a 265/35 R19 with load index 98 on the rear wheel. [8, 16, 21]

What is the load per wheel on an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio?

Its Swiss vehicle type record for the automatic version gives it a permissible load of 1,010 kg on the front axle and 1,210 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 505 and 605 kg per wheel: as a rear-wheel-drive car, it carries more at the rear. The rear tyre with load index 98 carries 750 kg. [10, 20, 21]

Which winter tyres does an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio take?

Up to 2022, the Swiss vehicle type records permitted winter tyres on the same wheels: 245/35 R19 at the front and, at the rear, 265/35 R19 in 2016 then 285/30 R19. Those from December 2022 to June 2026 no longer permit any. [8, 13, 16]

What PCD, centre bore and bolts does an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio use?

The PCD is 5x110, the centre bore 65.1 mm, and the wheels are held by M14 x 1.5 bolts with a 60° conical seat: SCC, wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee and the German general operating permits (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis) for Brock and MAK wheels, which name the 375 kW Giulia, give these measurements; hubcentric-rings.com gives a different centre bore. The tightening torque is not published: the databases and the permits do not all give the same value, and no Alfa Romeo document we have read gives it. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Which brakes does an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio have?

According to Alfa Romeo Australia's buyer's guide (February 2017), it has six-piston Brembo calipers at the front, on 360 x 32 mm drilled discs, and four-piston calipers at the rear, on 350 x 28 mm discs; carbon-ceramic brakes are offered as an option, which the Quadrifoglio supplement to the owner's handbook confirms. [15, 22]

Same fixing measurements

As original equipment, these cars have the same PCD, centre bore, thread and fixing as the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (952): PCD 5x110, centre bore 65.1 mm, thread M14 x 1.5, fixing: wheel bolts.

Same fixing measurements; original diameters and offsets: see each car's page. The seat of the bolts or nuts, the width of the wheels and brake clearance are not compared here: this comparison is not an opinion on compatibility.

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 20 October 2026 by the Onyx Forged design office.

Custom forged wheels for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (952)

  • Forged 6061-T6 aluminium
  • 5-axis CNC machining
  • Designed to JWL/VIA standards
  • Fitment worked out for your Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (952)

Giulia Quadrifoglio: 5x110, a 65.1 mm hub, M14 x 1.5 bolts

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (type 952), whose first Swiss vehicle type record dates from May 2016, uses 5x110 on a 65.1 mm hub, with M14 x 1.5 wheel bolts that have a 60° conical seat: SCC, wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee and two German operating permits for wheels (Brock and MAK) that name the 375 kW Giulia give these measurements, each cited in the table; hubcentric-rings.com gives a different centre bore. The tightening torque is not published: the sources do not all give the same value, and no Alfa Romeo document we have read gives it.

A staggered 19-inch fitment

The vehicle type record of the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA), the document that sets the tyre and wheel combinations a car may carry, permits a single wheel per axle for the Giulia Quadrifoglio from 2016 to 2026: 8.5J x 19 with an offset of 34 at the front, fitted with 245/35 R19 tyres, and 10J x 19 with an offset of 41 at the rear, fitted with 285/30 R19 tyres. The Quadrifoglio supplement to the owner's handbook and Alfa Romeo's Australian owner's handbook give the same wheels and the same tyres. Since December 2022, the records have also permitted a 265/35 R19 tyre on the rear wheel; up to 2022, they permitted winter tyres on the same wheels.

Brakes: Brembo, or carbon-ceramic

Alfa Romeo specifies six-piston Brembo calipers at the front, on 360 mm discs, and carbon-ceramic brakes as an option. The 19-inch wheel surrounds them closely: the Onyx Forged design office starts from the brakes on your car. The record gives a permissible load of 1,210 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 605 kg per rear wheel, more than at the front (1,010 kg): on this rear-wheel-drive car, it is the rear that carries the most.

What these measurements say about a forged wheel

The offset positions the wheel in the wheel arch: a wider wheel, or a lower offset, brings it closer to the wing. The Onyx Forged design office starts from the measurements on this page, your brakes and your tyres to calculate the width and offset of your wheels, then submits them to you. The offset calculator compares two fitments: it compares, it does not choose the measurement for you.

Roadworthiness test: what is examined

The French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique) examines the wheel without removing it (cracks, deformation, a wheel that protrudes beyond the bodywork) and verifies that the tyre size is one provided for by the manufacturer or accepted as equivalent. Keeping a tyre size from the original fitment, and at least its load index, avoids having to justify it; the details are on the roadworthiness test and registration page.

Configure your forged wheels for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio

The Onyx Forged design office works out the measurements of your car from its exact version, stated on the registration document, and shows them to you before machining. Each set is cut from forged 6061-T6 aluminium, machined on a 5-axis CNC centre, as monoblock, two-piece or three-piece wheels; our wheels are designed to JWL/VIA standards. Prices by diameter and the lead time are given on this page, under “What Onyx can make”. Start your configuration or write to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com.
