Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Maserati Grecale Trofeo
What are the original offsets for the wheels of a Maserati Grecale Trofeo?
A staggered 21-inch fitment, the only one its Swiss vehicle type records permit: 9J with an offset of 29 at the front and 10J with an offset of 25 at the rear. [6, 10]
Which tyres, and which load index, does a Maserati Grecale Trofeo take?
255/40 R21 with load index 102 at the front, i.e. 850 kg per tyre, and 295/35 R21 with load index 107 at the rear, i.e. 975 kg, reinforced (XL). [6, 10, 11]
What is the load per wheel on a Maserati Grecale Trofeo?
Its Swiss vehicle type records give it a permissible load of 1,240 kg on the front axle and 1,465 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 620 and 732.5 kg per wheel: the rear carries the most. The 295/35 R21 rear tyre with load index 107 carries 975 kg. [6, 10, 11]
What PCD, centre bore and bolts does a Maserati Grecale Trofeo use?
The PCD is 5x110, the centre bore 65.1 mm, and the wheels are held by M14 x 1.5 bolts: wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee, SCC and ThreePiece.us give these measurements for the Grecale, and tirewheelguide.com the PCD, the centre bore and the thread. The tightening torque is not published: only one database gives it in newton-metres. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Same fixing measurements
As original equipment, these cars have the same PCD, centre bore, thread and fixing as the Maserati Grecale Trofeo: PCD 5x110, centre bore 65.1 mm, thread M14 x 1.5, fixing: wheel bolts.
- Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (952) (since 2016)
- Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio (949) (since 2017)
Same fixing measurements; original diameters and offsets: see each car's page. The seat of the bolts or nuts, the width of the wheels and brake clearance are not compared here: this comparison is not an opinion on compatibility.

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 21 October 2026 by the Onyx Forged design office.

Custom forged wheels for the Maserati Grecale Trofeo
- Forged 6061-T6 aluminium
- 5-axis CNC machining
- Designed to JWL/VIA standards
- Fitment worked out for your Maserati Grecale Trofeo
Grecale Trofeo: 5x110, a 65.1 mm hub, M14 x 1.5 bolts
The Maserati Grecale Trofeo, type M182, whose first Swiss vehicle type record dates from September 2022, is 5x110 on a 65.1 mm hub, with M14 x 1.5 wheel bolts: wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee, SCC and ThreePiece.us give these measurements for the Grecale, and tirewheelguide.com the PCD (bolt pattern), the centre bore and the thread, each cited in the table. The tightening torque is not published: only one database gives it in newton-metres. 5x110 is a rare PCD: wheels from a 5x112 car do not fit it.
A single fitment: 21 inches, staggered
The vehicle type record of the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA), the document that sets the tyre and wheel combinations a car may carry, permits only one combination for the 390 kW Grecale Trofeo, a 21-inch one, wider at the rear: 9J with an offset of 29 at the front, with 255/40 R21 tyres, and 10J with an offset of 25 at the rear, with 295/35 R21 tyres, reinforced (XL). For another diameter, the Onyx Forged design office checks the clearance for the brakes and the room for the tyre under the body.
The rear carries the most
The records give a permissible load of 1,240 kg on the front axle and 1,465 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 620 and 732.5 kg per wheel: the more heavily loaded axle takes the wider wheel. The rear tyre must keep at least the load index of the original fitment, 107 on 295/35 R21 (reading a tyre (page in French)); the guide heavy SUV wheels and load per wheel (page in French) details the calculation.
What these measurements say about a forged wheel
The offset positions the wheel in the wheel arch: a wider wheel, or a lower offset, brings it closer to the wing. The Onyx Forged design office starts from the measurements on this page, your brakes and your tyres to calculate the width and offset of your wheels, then submits them to you. The offset calculator compares two fitments: it compares, it does not choose the measurement for you.
Roadworthiness test: what is examined
The French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique) examines the wheel without removing it (cracks, deformation, a wheel that protrudes beyond the bodywork) and verifies that the tyre size is one provided for by the manufacturer or accepted as equivalent. Keeping a tyre size from the original fitment, and at least its load index, avoids having to justify it; the details are on the roadworthiness test and registration page.
What we record before machining
- The exact version, stated on the registration document, and the current diameter of your wheels.
- The braking system, on which the smallest possible diameter depends (wheels and brakes (page in French)).
- The current fitment, axle by axle, and the hub's 65.1 mm centre bore.
Configure your forged wheels for the Maserati Grecale Trofeo
The Onyx Forged design office works out the measurements of your car from its exact version, stated on the registration document, and shows them to you before machining. Each set is cut from forged 6061-T6 aluminium, machined on a 5-axis CNC centre, as monoblock, two-piece or three-piece wheels; our wheels are designed to JWL/VIA standards. Prices by diameter and the lead time are given on this page, under “What Onyx can make”. Start your configuration or write to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com.
