Custom forged wheels for Aston Martin Vantage

The Vantage is the most compact Aston Martin, and the one that is driven the most. Two generations coexist on the French market, with widths, caliper volumes and wing fill that bear no relation to each other: a wheel advertised “for Vantage” with no further detail does not mean much. Onyx Forged has each set forged from a block of 6061-T6 aluminium, 5-axis CNC machined to the recorded measurements of your particular car.

The Aston Martin Vantage generation we cover

One row per published generation, from the oldest to the most recent. Each measurement comes from the generation's page, which cites its sources and gives the fitment of each version. These measurements help you recognise your car; they are not a recommendation, and Onyx does not advise any specific offset.

Onyx entry price: the set of four monoblock forged wheels in the smallest diameter of our price list that covers the smallest original diameter recorded; the other diameters and the two-piece construction are on each generation's page. Amounts in pounds: our checkout on 4 October 2026, before the carrier's clearance fee and any import duty. The amount shown at checkout is the one charged for your order.

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 22 October 2026.

The most compact Aston, and the most driven

The Vantage is the entry-level Aston Martin, the one with the most cars on the road and whose owners drive the most. The generation launched in 2018 uses the marque's bonded aluminium architecture, with a 4.0 twin-turbo V8 in a front-mid-mounted position, a rear-mounted gearbox and an electronically controlled rear differential, a first for Aston Martin. Short wheelbase, short overhangs: the car is more compact than a DB11, and you can feel it. It is still an English car, though, and its wheels must say so.

Two generations that call for different projects

The first Vantage, produced from 2005 to 2017 as a V8 and then as a V12, and the current generation share neither the same widths, nor the same wing fill, nor the same caliper volume: they are two separate projects, not one wheel in two versions. On a first-generation car, the aim is often to find a consistent fitment again when the original wheels have become hard to obtain individually, or when the finish has aged under its lacquer. On the recent generation, the aim is rather to refine the flush fit with the wing and to commit to a design that is not in the catalogue.

What forging changes on a short wheelbase

On a car this compact and this firmly damped, unsprung mass is paid for twice. First in rotational inertia, which blunts the pick-up out of a corner. Then in wheel control: a heavy wheel follows a broken surface less faithfully, and it is on B-roads, where a Vantage makes the most sense, that confidence is won or lost. High-pressure forging of 6061-T6 aligns the grain of the aluminium and makes it possible to reach the required stiffness with thinner sections. The benefit is not a performance figure: it is a front end that stays readable at small steering angles.

A design that has to work with the front end

The recent generation has a wide, low grille, which divides opinion as much as it defines the car. The wheel design is never neutral on it: a solid, dark face calms the whole car and draws the eye back to the rear haunches, while thin, light-coloured spokes open the car up and amplify its front end. There is no right answer in absolute terms, but a decision to make, looking at your car, in its colour and with its options. On the first generation, with its more classic proportions, the issue is the reverse: a design that is too contemporary betrays a silhouette that has aged very well.

Configure your custom Vantage wheels

The monoblock remains a benchmark for stiffness and controlled mass. The two-piece allows the width and offset to be set independently of the face design; the three-piece opens up barrel depth and finish, with a removable lip. Concave profile, finish, visible or hidden bolts: everything is decided with you. Our wheels are designed to JWL/VIA standards and 5-axis CNC machined. Price and lead time each have their own page: custom forged wheel prices and lead time. Send an inspiration photo to our configurator: it turns it into a render applied to your Vantage.
