A 560 PS estate that is now a used car

Produced from 2013 to 2018, the RS6 C7 introduced the twin-turbo 4.0 TFSI V8 with cylinder deactivation, first at 560 PS, then at 605 PS on the performance version unveiled in October 2015. No C7 is new: the cars have been driven, and so have their original wheels. That is what sets this project apart from a C8 project. Here, you are not only looking for a design; you are often putting a situation right: lacquer pitted by salt, a kerbed lip, an original part number that has become hard to obtain on its own.

The measurements of the C7: why we do not publish them yet

The C7 shares its name with the C8, not its wheels. The widths and offsets found online for the C7, in 20, 21 and 22 inches, rest to date on a single specialist database, with no Audi document to confirm them. Our rule requires a manufacturer's document, or two independent sources that agree, before we write down a measurement: so we do not publish them here, and we establish those of your car from its registration document or its VIN. The C8, for its part, has its sourced measurements on its own page. An RS6 C8 wheel cannot be carried over to a C7 without recording the car's measurements: neither the width, nor the offset, nor how the wheel fills the arch can be assumed.

What the mass imposes on the wheel centre

An all-wheel-drive estate, often loaded, with torque available from low revs: the load per wheel is a design parameter here, not a sales argument. We establish the permissible load per wheel for your version, from the maximum axle masses shown on the manufacturer's plate and on the registration document, before designing anything; it sets the thickness of the wheel centre and limits the number of spokes. On a car that is ten years old and whose running gear has seen some life, this margin is not a luxury.

The diameter: a choice, not a prescription

Every inch gained is taken from the sidewall height, and therefore from the comfort of an estate that remains a family car and from the protection of the lip. For each diameter considered, we show you what it implies on your car, and the choice is yours. In every case, high-pressure forging of 6061-T6 makes it possible to reach the target load with less material than a cast wheel, which matters all the more on a car of this mass.

Configure your custom RS6 C7 wheels

Monoblock to keep mass as low as possible, two-piece or three-piece to open up barrel depth and make the lip removable, a real advantage on a car that is used in town. Design, concave profile, finish and bolts are decided with you. Our wheels are designed to JWL/VIA standards and machined on a 5-axis CNC. Price and lead time each have their own page: custom forged wheel prices and lead time. We record the exact measurements of your individual car before any design work.
