Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Lamborghini Urus first generation

What are the original offsets for the wheels of a Lamborghini Urus?

A staggered fitment of 21, 22 or 23 inches, according to its Swiss vehicle type records. On the Urus, the Urus S and the Urus SE: an offset of 28 at the front, and at the rear an offset of 18 in 21 inches (10.5J) and of 22 in 22 and 23 inches (11.5J). On the Urus Performante, in 22 or 23 inches only: 20 at the front and 14 at the rear. [7, 11, 14, 16]

Which tyres, and which load index, does a Lamborghini Urus take?

In 21 inches, 285/45 R21 with a load index of 113 at the front, i.e. 1150 kg per tyre, and 315/40 R21 with a load index of 115 at the rear, i.e. 1215 kg; in 22 inches, 285/40 R22 with a load index of 110 and 325/35 R22 with a load index of 114, i.e. 1060 and 1180 kg; in 23 inches, 285/35 R23 with a load index of 107 and 325/30 R23 with a load index of 109, i.e. 975 and 1030 kg. [7, 14, 20, 21]

What is the load per wheel on a Lamborghini Urus?

Its Swiss vehicle type records give the Urus and the Urus S a permissible load of 1,500 kg on the front axle and 1,475 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 750 and 737.5 kg per wheel; the Urus Performante, 1,475 and 1,450 kg; the heavier Urus SE, 1,590 kg at the front and 1,650 or 1,750 kg at the rear, i.e. 795 kg and up to 875 kg per wheel. The 325/30 R23 rear tyre with a load index of 109 carries 1030 kg. [7, 11, 14, 16, 17, 20]

What PCD (bolt pattern), centre bore and bolts does a Lamborghini Urus use?

The PCD is 5x130 and the wheels are held by M14 x 1.5 bolts, according to wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee and ThreePiece.us. The centre bore used is 71.5 mm, the figure given by koleso.ee, tirewheelguide.com, SCC and BONOSS; wheelfitment.eu and ThreePiece.us give 71.6 mm: the Onyx Forged design office establishes it for your car, from its registration document or its VIN, and submits it to you before machining. The tightening torque is not published: no source we have read gives it. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 21 October 2026 by the Onyx Forged design office.

Custom forged wheels for the Lamborghini Urus first generation

Urus: 5x130, a 71.5 mm hub, M14 x 1.5 bolts

The Lamborghini Urus, type 636, whose first Swiss vehicle type record dates from May 2018, uses 5x130 with M14 x 1.5 wheel bolts, according to wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee and ThreePiece.us, each cited in the table. The centre bore used is 71.5 mm, the figure given by koleso.ee, tirewheelguide.com, SCC and BONOSS; wheelfitment.eu and ThreePiece.us give 71.6 mm: the Onyx Forged design office decides for your car before machining. No source we have read gives the tightening torque. These measurements apply to the 2018 Urus, the Urus S, the Urus Performante and the Urus SE.

21, 22 or 23 inches, and offsets specific to the Performante

The vehicle type record of the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA), the document that sets the tyre and wheel combinations a car may carry, permits for the Urus, the Urus S and the Urus SE a staggered fitment of 21, 22 or 23 inches, with an offset of 28 at the front: 9.5J x 21 and 10.5J x 21 with an offset of 18 at the rear (285/45 R21 and 315/40 R21), 10J x 22 and 11.5J x 22 with an offset of 22 (285/40 R22 and 325/35 R22), 10J x 23 and 11.5J x 23 with an offset of 22 (285/35 R23 and 325/30 R23). The 490 kW variant with coil springs, the Performante, is only permitted in 22 and 23 inches, with the same widths and lower offsets, 20 at the front and 14 at the rear: its wheels sit closer to the wing. The records do not name the trim levels; we identify them by their power output and suspension.

A heavy super-SUV: the load per wheel

The records give the Urus and the Urus S a permissible load of 1,500 kg on the front axle and 1,475 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 750 and 737.5 kg per wheel; the Performante, 1,475 and 1,450 kg; the Urus SE, a hybrid and heavier, 1,590 kg at the front and 1,650 or 1,750 kg at the rear, i.e. up to 875 kg per wheel. This is the load the wheel must withstand, and the tyre must keep at least the load index of the original fitment, 109 for 325/30 R23 at the rear (reading a tyre (page in French)); the guide heavy SUV wheels and load per wheel (page in French) sets out the calculation.

What these measurements say about a forged wheel

The offset positions the wheel in the wheel arch: a wider wheel, or a lower offset, brings it closer to the wing. The Onyx Forged design office starts from the measurements on this page, your brakes and your tyres to calculate the width and offset of your wheels, then submits them to you. The offset calculator compares two fitments: it compares, it does not choose the measurement for you.

Roadworthiness test: what is examined

The French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique) examines the wheel without removing it (cracks, deformation, a wheel that protrudes beyond the bodywork) and verifies that the tyre size is one provided for by the manufacturer or accepted as equivalent. Keeping a tyre size from the original fitment, and at least its load index, avoids having to justify it; the details are on the roadworthiness test and registration document page.

What we record before machining

Configure your forged wheels for the Lamborghini Urus

The Onyx Forged design office works out the measurements of your car from its exact version, stated on the registration document, and shows them to you before machining. Each set is cut from forged 6061-T6 aluminium, machined on a 5-axis CNC centre, as monoblock, two-piece or three-piece wheels; our wheels are designed to JWL/VIA standards. Prices by diameter and the lead time are given on this page, under “What Onyx can make”. Start your configuration or write to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com.
