What are the original offsets for the wheels of a BMW X5 G05?
The shop of the BMW dealer FABA lists, for the X5 G05, wheels from its catalogue that differ from one axle to the other. In 21 inches: 9.5J with an offset of 37 at the front and 10.5J with an offset of 43 at the rear. In 20 inches: 9J with an offset of 35 at the front and 10.5J with an offset of 40 at the rear. The shop states that the car's model series is not enough and asks for the chassis number to be checked. [6, 7, 8]
Which tyres come with the 21-inch complete wheel for an X5 G05?
275/40 R21 at the front and 315/35 R21 at the rear: these are the tyres that the shop of the BMW dealer FABA sells with the Y-Speiche 741 M complete wheels, which it lists as compatible with the X5 G05. [6]
What PCD, centre bore and bolts does a BMW X5 G05 use?
The PCD is 5x112, the centre bore 66.6 mm and the wheel bolts are M14 x 1.25, with a tightening torque of 140 Nm: SCC, wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee and wheel-sizes.com give these measurements. hubcentric-rings.com gives a different centre bore for the G05 line; we follow the other four, which agree, pending a BMW document. X5 G05: 5x112 on a 66.6 mm hub
The BMW X5, type G05, produced since 2018, is 5x112, on a 66.6 mm hub, with M14 x 1.25 wheel bolts tightened to 140 Nm: SCC, wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee and wheel-sizes.com, four independent specialist sources, give these measurements, each cited in the table. hubcentric-rings.com gives a different centre bore for the G05 line; we follow the other four, which agree, as no BMW document settles the question. The bolt seat is given by only one source: it is not published here.
The BMW catalogue wheels, in 20 and 21 inches
The shop of the BMW dealer FABA, which sells genuine BMW parts and accessories, lists wheels for the X5 G05, showing the part number and the compatible car for each, with widths and offsets that differ from one axle to the other. In 21 inches, the Y-Speiche 741 M bicolour complete wheel: 9.5J with an offset of 37 and 275/40 R21 tyres at the front, 10.5J with an offset of 43 and 315/35 R21 tyres at the rear. In 20 inches, the Sternspeiche 748 M, sold without tyres: 9J with an offset of 35 at the front, 10.5J with an offset of 40 at the rear. On a staggered fitment, a front wheel and a rear wheel are not swapped. The shop states that the car's model series is not enough to guarantee that a wheel fits, and asks for the chassis number to be checked.
Genuine accessories, not standard fitments
These wheels are genuine accessories: the catalogue gives their part number and the compatible car, but does not say which of them are fitted when new, or for which engine, and this page does not claim to. Only the 21-inch complete wheel gives the tyre for each axle; the 20-inch wheel is sold without tyres and the cell stays empty.
