Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Lamborghini Huracán EVO

What are the original offsets for the wheels of a Lamborghini Huracán EVO?

On the EVO and the EVO RWD, coupé or Spyder, a staggered fitment, according to their Swiss vehicle type records: 8.5J x 20 with an offset of 42 at the front and 11J x 20 with an offset of 40 at the rear, or the same widths and the same offsets in 19 inches. The Sterrato has only one fitment, in 19 inches: 8.5J with an offset of 27 at the front, 11J with an offset of 40 at the rear. [8, 12, 16]

Which tyres, and which load index, does a Lamborghini Huracán EVO take?

On the EVO and the EVO RWD, in 20 inches, 245/30 R20 with a load index of 90 at the front, i.e. 600 kg per tyre, and 305/30 R20 with a load index of 103 at the rear, i.e. 875 kg; in 19 inches, 245/35 R19 with a load index of 93 and 305/35 R19 with a load index of 102, i.e. 650 and 850 kg. On the Sterrato, 235/40 R19 with a load index of 96 at the front, i.e. 710 kg, and 285/40 R19 with a load index of 107 at the rear, i.e. 975 kg. [8, 16, 19]

What is the load per wheel on a Lamborghini Huracán EVO?

Its Swiss vehicle type records give it a permissible load of 950 kg on the front axle and 1,100 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 475 and 550 kg per wheel, for the EVO, the EVO RWD and the Sterrato alike: the rear carries the most. The Sterrato's rear tyre, 285/40 R19 with a load index of 107, carries 975 kg. [8, 12, 16, 19]

What PCD, centre bore and bolts does a Lamborghini Huracán EVO use?

The PCD is 5x112 and the wheels are held by M14 x 1.5 bolts, according to wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee, SCC and ThreePiece.us, which names the EVO and the Sterrato. The centre bore is not the same on both axles: 57.1 mm at the front and 66.5 mm at the rear, according to SCC, koleso.ee and tirewheelguide.com; wheelfitment.eu also gives 57.1 mm at the rear: the Onyx Forged design office establishes the centre bore of each axle for your car, from its registration document or its VIN, and submits it to you before machining. The tightening torque is not published: no source we have read gives it for the original bolt. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 22 October 2026 by the Onyx Forged design office.

Custom forged wheels for the Lamborghini Huracán EVO

Huracán EVO: 5x112, M14 x 1.5 bolts, a centre bore for each axle

The Lamborghini Huracán EVO, type 724, whose first Swiss vehicle type record dates from July 2019, as the four-wheel-drive EVO and the rear-wheel-drive EVO RWD alike, coupé or Spyder, and the Huracán Sterrato use 5x112 with M14 x 1.5 wheel bolts: wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee, SCC and ThreePiece.us give these measurements, ThreePiece.us naming the EVO and the Sterrato, tirewheelguide.com the PCD (bolt pattern) and the thread, each cited in the table. These are the measurements of the first series. Its hub does not have the same centre bore on both axles: 57.1 mm at the front and 66.5 mm at the rear, according to SCC, koleso.ee and tirewheelguide.com; wheelfitment.eu also gives 57.1 mm at the rear, and ThreePiece.us a single centre bore, without saying which axle. The hub table has only one cell for the centre bore of a fitment that covers both axles: it leaves it empty. The Onyx Forged design office establishes the centre bore of each axle for your car, from its registration document or its VIN, and submits it to you before machining. No source we have read gives the tightening torque of the original bolt.

EVO and EVO RWD: 19 or 20 inches

The vehicle type record of the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA), the document that sets the tyre and wheel combinations a car may carry, permits for the 470 kW EVO and the 449 kW EVO RWD the fitments of the first series, staggered and wider at the rear: 8.5J x 20 with an offset of 42 at the front and 11J x 20 with an offset of 40 at the rear, on 245/30 R20 and 305/30 R20 tyres, or 8.5J x 19 and 11J x 19 at the same offsets, on 245/35 R19 and 305/35 R19 tyres. The record lists the two front wheels in one field and the two rear wheels in the next; the table pairs them in that order, the 20-inch wheel with the 20-inch wheel, the 19-inch with the 19-inch.

The Sterrato: a single fitment, in 19 inches

For the Sterrato, with 449 kW and four-wheel drive, limited to 260 km/h, the record permits only one fitment: 8.5J x 19 with an offset of 27 at the front, on a 235/40 R19 tyre, and 11J x 19 with an offset of 40 at the rear, on a 285/40 R19 tyre. At the same width, its lower front offset places the front wheel closer to the wing than on the EVO. The records do not name the trim levels: we identify the Sterrato by its top speed and the roof load it permits, the EVO and the EVO RWD by their power output and drivetrain. The Huracán STO and the Huracán Tecnica do not have their own page yet: we have not read two sources that agree on their hub.

A mid-mounted engine: the rear carries the most

The records give a permissible load of 950 kg on the front axle and 1,100 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 475 and 550 kg per wheel, for the EVO, the EVO RWD and the Sterrato alike: the more heavily loaded axle receives the wider wheel. The tyre must keep at least the load index of the original fitment, at the rear 103 for 305/30 R20 and 107 for 285/40 R19 on the Sterrato (reading a tyre (page in French)).

What these measurements say about a forged wheel

The offset positions the wheel in the wheel arch: a wider wheel, or a lower offset, brings it closer to the wing. The Onyx Forged design office starts from the measurements on this page, your brakes and your tyres to calculate the width and offset of your wheels, then submits them to you. The offset calculator compares two fitments: it compares, it does not choose the measurement for you.

Roadworthiness test: what is examined

The French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique) examines the wheel without removing it (cracks, deformation, a wheel that protrudes beyond the bodywork) and verifies that the tyre size is one provided for by the manufacturer or accepted as equivalent. Keeping a tyre size from the original fitment, and at least its load index, avoids having to justify it; the details are on the roadworthiness test and registration document page.

Configure your forged wheels for the Lamborghini Huracán EVO

The Onyx Forged design office works out the measurements of your car from its exact version, stated on the registration document, and shows them to you before machining. Each set is cut from forged 6061-T6 aluminium, machined on a 5-axis CNC centre, as monoblock, two-piece or three-piece wheels; our wheels are designed to JWL/VIA standards. Prices by diameter and the lead time are given on this page, under “What Onyx can make”. Start your configuration or write to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com.
