Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Toyota GR Supra A90

What are the original offsets for the wheels of a Toyota GR Supra?

A staggered fitment, according to the Swiss vehicle type records: 9J with an offset of 32 at the front and 10J with an offset of 40 at the rear, in both 18 and 19 inches. The 17-inch wheel, permitted on the 2.0 from September 2020 and on the 3.0 from August 2022, has an offset of 24 at the front (7.5J) and of 26 at the rear (8.5J). [9, 12, 15]

Which tyres, and which load index, does a Toyota GR Supra take?

In 19 inches, 255/35 R19 with load index 96 at the front, i.e. 710 kg per tyre, and 275/35 R19 with load index 100 at the rear, i.e. 800 kg; in 18 inches, 255/40 R18 with load index 95 and 275/40 R18 with load index 99, i.e. 690 and 775 kg. These are the combinations in the Swiss vehicle type records. [9, 15, 19]

Which winter wheels does a Toyota GR Supra take?

With winter tyres, the Swiss vehicle type records permit the same wheel on both axles: 9J x 18 with an offset of 32 and 255/40 R18 tyres, or 7.5J x 17 with an offset of 24 and 225/50 R17 tyres. [9, 10, 15]

What is the load per wheel on a Toyota GR Supra?

The Swiss vehicle type record of the 3.0 gives it a permissible load of 960 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 480 kg per rear wheel, more than at the front (865 kg); that of the 2.0, 910 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 455 kg per wheel. The 275/35 R19 rear tyre with load index 100 carries 800 kg. [9, 15, 19]

What PCD (bolt pattern), centre bore and bolts does a Toyota GR Supra use?

The PCD is 5x112, the centre bore 66.5 mm, and the wheels are held by M14 x 1.25 bolts with a 60° conical seat: wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee, SCC and the German general operating permits (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis) for Ronal and Borbet wheels give these measurements; SCC and hubcentric-rings.com give a centre bore of 66.6 mm. The Toyota owner's manual sets the tightening torque of the bolts at 140 Nm. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

Which brakes does a Toyota GR Supra have?

According to Toyota Europe, the 2019 3.0 has four-piston Brembo calipers at the front and a single-piston floating caliper at the rear, with ventilated discs of 348 x 36 mm at the front and 345 x 24 mm at the rear; on the 2.0, this braking system is part of the optional Sport Pack. In November 2024, Toyota announced 374 mm front discs on the revised 3.0 and 395 mm on the “A90 Final Edition”, whose Brembo brakes it presents as 19-inch brakes. [20, 21, 22]

Same fixing measurements

As original equipment, these cars have the same PCD, centre bore, thread and fixing as the Toyota GR Supra A90: PCD 5x112, centre bore 66.5 mm, thread M14 x 1.25, fixing: wheel bolts.

Same fixing measurements; original diameters and offsets: see each car's page. The seat of the bolts or nuts, the width of the wheels and brake clearance are not compared here: this comparison is not an opinion on compatibility.

The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 20 October 2026 by the Onyx Forged design office.

Custom forged wheels for the Toyota GR Supra A90

GR Supra A90: 5x112, a 66.5 mm hub, M14 x 1.25 bolts

The fifth-generation Toyota GR Supra (A90), unveiled by Toyota in January 2019, delivered in Europe from summer 2019, and whose end of production Toyota has announced for spring 2026 with the A90 Final Edition, uses 5x112 on a 66.5 mm hub, with M14 x 1.25 wheel bolts with a 60° conical seat: wheelfitment.eu, koleso.ee, SCC and two German general operating permits for wheels (Ronal and Borbet) give these measurements, each cited in the table; SCC and hubcentric-rings.com give a centre bore of 66.6 mm. The Toyota owner's manual sets the tightening torque of the bolts at 140 Nm.

A staggered fitment, permitted from 17 to 19 inches

The vehicle type record of the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA), the document that sets the tyre and wheel combinations a car may carry, permits a staggered fitment for the GR Supra: 9J with an offset of 32 at the front and 10J with an offset of 40 at the rear, in 18 inches (255/40 R18 and 275/40 R18) and in 19 inches (255/35 R19 and 275/35 R19), for both the 250 kW 3.0 and the 190 kW 2.0. A 17-inch wheel, 7.5J with an offset of 24 at the front and 8.5J with an offset of 26 at the rear, is permitted on the 2.0 from September 2020 and on the 3.0 from August 2022. For winter, the record permits the same wheel on both axles: 9J x 18 with an offset of 32, or 7.5J x 17 with an offset of 24.

Brembo brakes: the diameter before choosing the wheel

On the 2019 3.0, Toyota Europe specifies four-piston Brembo calipers at the front and 348 mm discs; on the 2.0, this braking system is part of an optional pack. Toyota later announced 374 mm front discs on the revised 3.0, and 395 mm on the A90 Final Edition, whose brakes it presents as 19-inch brakes. A wheel that cleared one Supra therefore does not necessarily clear another: the Onyx Forged design office starts from your calipers.

Load: the rear carries the most

The record gives the 3.0 a permissible load of 960 kg on the rear axle, i.e. 480 kg per rear wheel, more than at the front (865 kg). That is the load the rear wheel must carry, and the rear tyre must keep at least the load index of the original fitment (reading a tyre (page in French)).

What these measurements say about a forged wheel

The offset positions the wheel in the wheel arch: a wider wheel, or a lower offset, brings it closer to the wing. The Onyx Forged design office starts from the measurements on this page, your brakes and your tyres to calculate the width and offset of your wheels, then submits them to you. The offset calculator compares two fitments: it compares, it does not choose the measurement for you.

Roadworthiness test: what is examined

The French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique) examines the wheel without removing it (cracks, deformation, a wheel that protrudes beyond the bodywork) and verifies that the tyre size is one provided for by the manufacturer or accepted as equivalent. Keeping a tyre size from the original fitment, and at least its load index, avoids having to justify it; the details are on the roadworthiness test and registration page.

What we record before machining

Configure your forged wheels for the Toyota GR Supra (A90)

The Onyx Forged design office works out the measurements of your car from its exact version, stated on the registration document, and shows them to you before machining. Each set is cut from forged 6061-T6 aluminium, machined on a 5-axis CNC centre, as monoblock, two-piece or three-piece wheels; our wheels are designed to JWL/VIA standards. Prices by diameter and the lead time are given on this page, under “What Onyx can make”. Start your configuration or write to contact@onyxforgedwheels.com.
