The offset and width of your wheels do not come from a table: the Onyx Forged design office calculates them for your car and your brakes, and submits them to you before machining.
Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Tesla Model Y first generation
What is the wheel tightening torque on a first-generation Tesla Model Y (pre-facelift)?
175 Nm on the wheel nuts, according to Tesla's workshop manual, which also asks for them to be loosened only with a hand tool; the power tool is only used to remove them once loosened. [7, 8, 9]
What are the original fitments of the first-generation Model Y?
Three diameters. In 19 inches: 9.5J ET 45 and 255/45 R19 on all four wheels. In 20 inches: 9.5J ET 45 and 255/40 R20. In 21 inches, the fitment is staggered: 9.5J ET 40 and 255/35 R21 at the front, 10.5J ET 48 and 275/35 R21 at the rear. Tesla does not publish which trim gets which diameter. [8, 10, 11]
Can a first-generation Model Y switch to Bluetooth pressure sensors?
Yes. Tesla's workshop manual describes a procedure that replaces the original sensors with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors, then updates the car's configuration. [12]

Model Y 2020-2024: the fixing first
The first Model Y, the one for model years 2020 to 2024 in Tesla's workshop manual, uses 5x114.3, on a 64.1 mm hub, and M14 x 1.5 wheel nuts with a 60° conical seat: these measurements come from specialist sources that agree, each cited in the table. Tesla's workshop manual, for its part, gives 175 Nm and asks for the nuts to be loosened only with a hand tool; the power tool is only used to remove them once loosened. These are also the fixing measurements of the facelifted Model Y (Juniper).
Three original diameters
In 19 inches, 9.5J ET 45 and 255/45 R19 on all four wheels; in 20 inches, 9.5J ET 45 and 255/40 R20. The 21-inch is staggered: 9.5J ET 40 and 255/35 R21 at the front, 10.5J ET 48 and 275/35 R21 at the rear. Tesla does not publish which trim gets which diameter. In 19 and in 20 inches, width and offset are the same: only the diameter and the tyre change. The 21-inch, however, cannot be swapped from one axle to the other.
Pressure sensors: the switch to Bluetooth
Tesla's workshop manual describes a procedure that replaces the original sensors with Bluetooth Low Energy sensors, then updates the car's configuration. Whether you keep the original sensors or switch to these, the wheel must take the sensor at the valve position.
Range and weight: sourced figures, or none
On an electric car, wheel size has a cost in range. Official US figures give the order of magnitude on another car from the brand: on the EPA cycle, the 2025 Model S Plaid loses 10.3% of its range between its 19-inch and 21-inch wheels (fueleconomy.gov, comparison of the 2025 Model S Plaid and Model X Plaid), a difference that combines diameter, tyre, weight and aerodynamics. We have not yet recorded a sourced figure specific to the first-generation Model Y, so we do not give one. Nor do we state a wheel weight: a forged wheel's weight depends on its spokes, its width and its construction, and we only publish what has been weighed.
