Frequently asked questions: wheels for the Porsche Cayenne E3 (9YA)
What is the wheel tightening torque on a Porsche Cayenne E3?
160 Nm, according to Porsche's bulletins on permitted wheels and tyres. [2, 4, 5]
Do the rear offsets of a Cayenne E3 differ between the SUV and the Coupé?
Yes, at the rear. In 20 inches, Porsche permits ET 64 on the SUV and ET 55 on the Coupé; in 21 inches, ET 58 and ET 49; in 22 inches, ET 61 and ET 52. At the front, the offsets are the same: ET 50, ET 46 and ET 48. [4, 5, 6]
Do ceramic brakes limit the wheel size on a Cayenne E3?
Yes. Porsche permits the PCCB ceramic brakes only with wheels of 21 inches or more, and the PSCB surface-coated brakes only with wheels of 20 inches or more. [5]
Same fixing measurements
As original equipment, these cars have the same PCD, centre bore, thread and fixing as the Porsche Cayenne E3 (9YA): PCD 5x130, centre bore 71.6 mm, thread M14 x 1.5, fixing: wheel bolts.

Publication rule: a measurement is shown only if a primary source gives it (a manufacturer's document, an official vehicle type record, an original parts catalogue, the maker of the original wheel) without another primary source contradicting it, or if two independent specialist sources agree without a primary source contradicting them. The press and forums do not count. Measurements checked on 15 October 2026 by the Onyx Forged design office.

Custom forged wheels for the Porsche Cayenne E3 (9YA)
- Forged 6061-T6 aluminium
- 5-axis CNC machining
- Designed to JWL/VIA standards
- Fitment worked out for your Porsche Cayenne E3 (9YA)
Cayenne E3: the hub first, then the fitments
The third-generation Cayenne, type 9YA, often called the E3, is 5x130, on a 71.6 mm hub: three independent specialist sources give this, each cited in the table. Its wheel bolts are M14 x 1.5 according to two of these sources, and Porsche's bulletins on permitted wheels and tyres give 160 Nm for tightening them. The bolt seat, on the other hand, is given by only one source: it is not published here, and we check it for your car.
SUV or Coupé: the rear changes
At the front, the SUV and the Coupé have the same measurements according to Porsche's bulletins: 9J ET 50 in 20 inches, 9.5J ET 46 in 21 inches, 10J ET 48 in 22 inches. At the rear, the offset depends on the body: in 20 inches, ET 64 on the SUV and ET 55 on the Coupé; in 21 inches, ET 58 and ET 49; in 22 inches, ET 61 and ET 52. The widths, however, are the same: 10.5J, 11J and 11.5J. A rear wheel from the SUV therefore cannot be carried over to a Coupé, or the other way round, and the two axles are never swapped.
From 19 to 22 inches, then the model year 2024 fitments
On the SUV, the bulletins prior to model year 2024 also list a 19-inch fitment: 8.5J ET 47 at the front, 9.5J ET 54 at the rear. The bulletin for model year 2024 onwards lists only the 20, 21 and 22-inch fitments, with other tyres: in 20 inches, 255/55 ZR20 at the front and 295/45 ZR20 at the rear, where the previous bulletins gave 275/45 ZR20 and 305/40 ZR20. The wheel widths and offsets do not change.
Ceramic brakes and wheel arch extensions
Porsche permits the PCCB ceramic brakes only with wheels of 21 inches or more, and the PSCB surface-coated brakes only with wheels of 20 inches or more. On a car delivered new on 19 or 20-inch wheels, moving to 21 or 22 inches requires Porsche's wheel arch extension kit. We record the version, the brakes and the fitment of your car before any machining.
