718 Boxster 982: 5x130, 71.6 mm, 160 Nm

The 718 Boxster, type 982, uses 5x130 on a 71.6 mm hub: four independent specialist sources give the PCD (bolt pattern), three the centre bore, each cited in the table. A fourth database gives a centre bore one tenth of a millimetre smaller: we adopt the value of three groups of sources against one. The wheel bolts are M14 x 1.5 according to three sources, and Porsche's bulletin on permitted wheels and tyres gives a tightening torque of 160 Nm. Two specialist databases publish 130 Nm: we follow Porsche.

A wider rear, and fitments that depend on the version

Porsche's bulletins give each diameter a different front wheel and rear wheel. In 18 inches: 8J ET 57 at the front, 9.5J ET 49 at the rear. In 19 inches: 8J ET 57 at the front, 10J ET 45 at the rear. In 20 inches, two sets: 8J ET 57 and 10J ET 45, or 8.5J ET 57 and 10.5J ET 47. A front wheel and a rear wheel are never swapped.

The 18-inch fitment is reserved for the base Boxster

Porsche rules out the 18-inch summer fitment on the Boxster S and lists only 20-inch summer fitments for the GTS, GTS 4.0 and T. The 19-inch fitment is open to the base Boxster and the Boxster S. We start from the exact version of your car, stated on the registration document, never from the model name alone.
